Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tavares, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This is a Federally funded project and all Federal Funding rules apply Davis Bacon applies This completed form must appear as the top sheet for all bids submitted. It is the intent and purpose of the City of Tavares that this Invitation to Bid promotes competitive bidding. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to advise the Purchasing Department at the address noted in the Special Conditions, if any language, requirements, etc., or any combination thereof, inadvertently restricts or limits the requirements stated in this Invitation to Bid to a single source. Such notification must be submitted in writing and must be received by the Purchasing Department not later than ten (10) days prior to the bid opening date. This is a Federally funded project and all Federal Funding rules apply. Bidders are required to submit proposals for the above on the Bid Forms provided. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of thirty (30) days. A Performance and Payment Bond in a sum equal to 110% of the amount of the Contract awarded will be required at the time of execution of the construction contract The City of Tavares reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to reject any or all bids with or without cause, and/or to accept the bid that in its best judgment will be for the best interest of the City.
