Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sandusky, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The estimated base bid construction cost for this project is as follows:$431,100.00. The work to be performed under this specification consist in general cleaning and painting the interior and exterior surfaces of the existing water storage facility. Contract intent is for the provision of materials and workmanship of standards to produce first-class painting work for the Contract; material applications to be in strict accordance with manufacturer's directions and with American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards; for exterior painting of steel water tank. Ohio Prevailing Wage rates must be paid on this project. The Bidder will be required to conform to all provisions of the Ohio Prevailing Wage Law and related labor requirements and regulations. All businesses, including minority owned, female owned, or small businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Where there is reason to believe that collusion exists among bidders, the bids of those involved will be rejected. Erie County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in any bid, and to determine the lowest and best bidder.
