Kirkham Community and Allotment Gardens (120 Kirkham Drive) - is located on the East Side of Ninth Line, South of 14th Avenue. The anticipated Work for this Project may include, but is not limited to the following: - Site preparation and grading of site; - Provide Water/Yard/Hydrant Connections; - Limestone Screenings Pathway; - Post, wire fence and gates - Timber edging for allotment gardens; - Garden Sheds; - Accessible Planters; - C.I.P. Concrete footing(s) for the mounting of Garden Sheds; and, - Planting soil and seeding. NOTE: It is imperative that all Bidders understand: (i) That, the intent is to build a prestigious, high quality, community and allotment gardens; and, associated landscape; and, (ii) That TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE, and construction must be achieved for the following stipulated dates; - Opening of Community Garden Spaces: May 20, 2022 - Substantial Performance of Constructed Work: November 30, 2022 Consequently, time shall be material and of the essence of the Contract.
