Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Design plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of July 28, 2022, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start summer 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: After the release date, all communications between the County and prospective respondents regarding this RFQ shall be in writing. Any inquires, requests for interpretation, technical questions, clarification, or additional information shall be directed to Kevin Caison, Facilities Project Manager by emailing kcaison@nhcgov.com. All questions concerning this RFQ shall reference the section number and page. Questions and responses will be compiled and shared with all interested Respondents known to the County and posted as an addendum. All questions shall be received no later than Thursday March 31, 2022 by 5:00 PM, EST. New Hanover County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Statements of Qualifications and to make the award which will be most advantageous to the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
