Site Description: The subject site is located at the Jackson County Airport at 500 Sky Harbor Way in Jefferson, Jackson County, Georgia. The area of improvement consists of the existing runway (1735J-10 and 20), taxiway connectors, and the oldest portion of the parallel taxiway (TAJF-10). The runway consists of a flexible (asphalt) pavement system. At the time of our site visit, we observed surficial cracking within the asphalt pavement of the runway. Project Description: The proposed construction will include rehabilitation of the existing runway including various taxiways. Most of this area is currently improved with an existing airport runway and taxiways, which consist of flexible (asphalt) pavement systems.
