The Virginia Department of Transportation herein referred to as "VDOT" is soliciting bids from qualified firms, the work shall consist of scaling rock slopes by manual methods requiring highangle industrial rope access methods as specified on approximately 4300 square feet of surface located above US-250 Westbound (Rockfish Gap Turnpike) Site 3, location in Nelson County. The Contractor shall select the scaling method and equipment to meet the performance requirements. Any questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via email to Donna.Backe at Donna.Backe@VDOT.Virginia.gov two (2) days prior to bid closing date/time. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
