The Washington County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2022 LMIG Resurfacing in Washington and Jefferson Counties. Questions must be submitted in writing to John Solomon via e-mail john.solomon@oneatlas.com no later than April 14, 2022. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. All bids should be submitted in duplicate. Contractors shall submit with bid, a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid made payable to the Washington County Board of Commissioners. Successful contractor will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company must be authorized by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies, and must have an AM Best rating of A10 or higher. Written bid documents supersede any prior communications between the parties. Award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. Washington County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the option to negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
