Renovation of a municipal facility in Sandersville, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Per the owner, as of September 6, 2024, no contract was awarded for this solicitation. The owner states that the project is being reevaluated to determine next steps. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ The Washington County Board of Commissioners invites architectural firms to submit proposals furnishing Architectural and Project Management Services for window replacement project for the Washington County Courthouse. The courthouse is a historical building dating back to 1800's that is the center piece and most recognizable landmark in Sandersville and Washington County. The windows, framing, and other parts are quite old and, with the many years of exposure to the elements, are deteriorating significantly. This project will encompass plans and designs for the proper replacement of all windows of the courthouse. The selected firm will complete those items, as well as handle the bidding process and management of the project to ensure all aspects are done in a timely manner and appropriately. Questions or inquiries should be made via email to dspeebles@washingtoncountyga.gov. We are seeking qualified architectural firms interested in developing a formal plan for the park. Any risk of non-delivery shall remain with the bidding party. All proposals shall remain valid for 90 days. Emailed or faxed proposals will not be accepted. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
