Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sumter, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the following major elements: Installation of approximately 1,920 LF of standard 5' wide sidewalk, rough grading, fine grading, detectable warning surfaces, SCDOT crosswalks, storm drainage modifications, sediment and erosion control, grassing, and other miscellaneous and related items. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of South Carolina. The Bid Bond shall be in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. Sumter County Ordinance No. 08-675 which allows for local preference in the award of contracts shall apply to this Bid. No Bid will be considered unless the Bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law.
