Demolition and site work for a retail development in Aberdeen, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a retail development; and for site work for a retail development.

Submit questions no later than. (5) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Clarifications will be included in Addenda. Verbal answers and clarifications are not binding on any party. Bidders shall be bound by their bids for for (30) calendar days following the bid opening. A bid security, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier check or bid bond is required with each Bid in an amount equal to (5) percent of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. Should a bidder fail to enter into an Agreement with the Owner and/or fail to furnish the bonds required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) days after his/her Bid has been accepted, the Contractor Bid Security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. Contractor shall secure, include costs therefore in the Bid, and pay for bonds issued by a bonding company with a Best's rating of A", or better, and licensed to transact business in the State of Washington in Statutory Form. Liability under each of the bonds shall be 100 percent of the contract sum, including state sales tax, for: 1. - Performance. 2. - Labor and Material Payinent. Representatives for the Owner and the Architect will be available to answer questions. To be eligible to bid, all bidders must physically inspect the premises and familiarize themselves with all existing conditions. Bidders will be required to submit the foliowing documents: 1. - Non-Collusion Affidavit. 2. - Certification Regarding Responsibility Matters. 3. - Certification of Compliance: with Wage Payment Statutes.
