The City of Lawrence, through the Lawrence Airport Commission, invites sealed bid proposals for Reconstruct Taxiway C (2,433 LF x 35 FT) and Extend Taxiway C (1,137 LF x 35 FT), in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. c.30 39M. The project includes but is not necessarily limited to: Reconstruction of Taxiway C (2,433 LF x 35 FT); Construction to extend Taxiway C (1,137 LF x 35 FT); Construction of Taxiway C2 (173 LF x 35 FT); Removal of Taxiway D (1,935 LF x 35 FT); Earthwork; Aggregate Subbase/ Base; Bituminous Paving; Pavement Markings; Topsoil and Seeding; Drainage Improvements including New Pipe and Structures; Electrical Improvements including New LED Taxiway Edge Lighting; New LED Airfield Guidance Signs; New Runway 14 REILs (Runway End Indicator Lights); New Cabling, Conduit, Light Base Cans, Duct Banks and Handholes; New Constant Current Regulator; and incidentals. The work is estimated to cost $6,500,000. This Project is being electronically bid.
