Delivered to the town hall on Tuesday, April 12th , 2022 at 6:30 pm to be opened at the regular monthly town board meeting that night. Mark sealed envelope with "gravel" or "seal coat" bid on the outside and mail to George Wilbur, Chairman at PO box 127, La Farge, WI 54639 or deliver to April 12 board meeting. All gravel bids should include the following: 3/4" gravel, 3" minus breaker run and screenings, delivered and spread or stockpiled at the town or picked up at a quarry. All gravel products must meet State of WI DOT specifications. Seal coating bids should include: Single hard seal and double seal over gravel, price per mile, 20' width. Single hard seal using 4200 gallons of liquid asphalt per mile and 146 tons of 3/8" washed limestone chips and 3/8" washed 100% fractured granite chips. Double seal over gravel using 8400 gallons of liquid asphalt and 292 tons of 3/8" washed limestone chips or 3/8" washed 100% fractured granite chips per mile. Bid should also include price per gallon for asphalt and price per ton for chips. All seal coating should be completed by end of August, 2022. Bids will be opened at the regular monthly board meeting as mentioned above. The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the town.
