Number: AC-STBG-G-246-1(13)E This project, located in Montgomery County, is for Safety and Resurfacing (Fund 77) along MD 108 from Olney Mill Road (MP 12.10) to Brooke Road (MP 15.79). MD 108 is classified as an Urban Minor Arterial. Within the limits, the posted speed limit varies between 30 MPH and 40 MPH. The total project length is approximately 3.7 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Fine milling and resurfacing the existing pavement; (b) Patching; (c) Inlet repairs or replacement as needed; (d) Cleaning existing inlets and storm drain pipes; (e) Repairing concrete curb and gutter and concrete median; (f) Reconstructing driveway aprons (existing curb return on driveways only) to meet ADA; (g) Upgrading pedestrian ramps and bus stops within the limits of resurfacing; (h) Upgrading traffic barrier w-beam and end treatments to meet current design standards; (i) Installing new pavement markings. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB).
