The Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma Due Wednesday March 30, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. CST The Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma requests Statements of Qualifications/Proposals for American Indian Design-Build Team services for the construction of (5) Five Tiny Houses approximately 900 SQ FT all ADA compliant. This request for qualifications (RFQ) solicitation does not commit the Ponca Tribe to award a contract, to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of this proposal, or to procure or contract for these services. The Ponca Tribe's primary purpose in using the DB process is to utilize the fast-tracked de- sign and construction services to deliver quality con- struction in an economical and efficient manner. The Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma will fund this project with funds awarded from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Indian Community Development Block Grant-American R e s c u e P l a n (ICDBG-ARP). The Project Deadline is March 31, 2023.
The selected De- sign/Build Team must provide evidence of insurance and a surety that the Contractor can provide 100% of the contract price and a Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price to ensure materials and subcontracts will be paid to complete the contract on time. All TERO regulations shall be adhered to in the performance of this contract. S e l e c t i o n o f a Design/Build construction firm will be selected based on the following criteria: 1. Construction firm experience, at least 5 years, with design/build projects/contracts with Oklahoma Tribes. 0-10 points. 2. Do you have a Quality Control/Quality As- surance plan 0-10 points 3. Construction firm experience/qualifications of existing housing projects and meeting /exceeding project deadlines. 0-25 points. 4. A/E partner de- sign experience in building homes in Oklahoma. 0-20 points. 5. Plan for minor- ity subcontracting and hiring. 0-10 points. 6. Plan to meet design/build schedule of March 31, 2023, completion. 0-15 points. 7. Verifiable Indian Preference of both firms (proof of enrollment and majority ownership re- quired) and proof of insurance and bonding capacity. 0-10 points. The Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma reserves the right to cancel or reject any or all proposals and to negotiate and award a contract deemed to be in the Ponca Tribe's best interest. For selection considerations please provide six (6) qualification packets, as well as a thumb drive with a digital copy, including all criteria items stated above in order.
