The Northborough Public Schools are soliciting quotes for drainage and downspout reconstruction at the Fannie E. Proctor Elementary School, Northborough, MA. Scope of Work Drainage and Downspout Reconstruction Fannie E. Proctor Elementary School, 26 Jefferson Road, Northborough, Massachusetts Drainage Repair - Two (2) locations (Location #1 and Location #2 will be on display during site visit) were discovered where underground water drainage piping has collapsed and was found to be in need of repair. The exact locations of the underground repair will be provided during the site visit. Excavate area to expose damaged piping and repair as necessary. Coordinate site access for a plumber to remove and replace damaged piping. Backfill and dispose of any work-related debris or trash. Weekend work is preferred, but the District will work with the successful vendor to schedule work. All wages to be paid at Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Regulations. (Appendix A) Location #1 Cut asphalt as needed to excavate. Jackhammer and hand dig down approximately 2' to fully expose the collapsed line. Cut, remove and dispose of existing damaged piping. Install new 5'section of 4" PVC with proper connection and clamps. Location #2 Hand dig mulch area approx 2' deep at Location #2. Trench approximately 5' to fully expose and remove collapsed corrugated pipe. Install new 5'section of 4" PVC with proper fittings and clamps.
