The project includes replacing 15KV underground conductors into the building, replacing interior 15KV conductors and raceways to 3 existing substations, and removing existing main switchgear. Scope also includes replacement of 3 secondary distribution switchboards associated with the substations, as well as replacement of 3 existing 480 volt motor control centers with distribution panelboards to refeed existing motor loads. Feeders for 35 downstream panels will be replaced and rerouted to the new switchboards. Installation will be phased over summers of 2022 and 2023 to minimize impact of electrical outages to the building.
