As of April 26, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 1, 2022. The Contractor shall perform all work for the installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 12-inch PVC pipe including all appurtenances, connections to existing lines, services, and installation of new fire hydrant laterals. Approximately 65 linear feet of the new 12-inch PVC pipe will be installed in-place of the existing 4" ACP pipe on Indian Street near Ironwood Avenue. The proposed 12-inch PVC pipe will connect to an existing 8-inch CML&C pipe at Hemlock Avenue and to an existing 12-inch CML&C pipe at Ironwood Avenue. The work will also include construction of approximately 20 linear feet of 6-inch PVC pipe connecting the new 12-inch pipe to an existing 6-inch CML&C pipe at Sinaloa Street. Work shall include all restrained joints, valves, air valves, fire hydrants, water services, shoring and bracing per California Labor Codes, backfill, pavement removal, replacement and restoration, trench and pipeline dewatering, high lining service connections as needed, exposure and field welding of existing steel pipe joints, disinfection, traffic control, SWPPP, abandonment of the existing 4" ACP and removal as needed, and other related miscellaneous work. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications and contract drawings. Quantities are approximate. Bidders are responsible to verify actual quantities from the detailed design drawings to accurately calculate quantity take-offs.
