Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Medford, Massachusetts. Design plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
As of July 13, 2023, an architect has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The process of acquiring a general contractor is estimated to take place early fall. Construction is estimated to take place in summer of 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: FISH # 176085 MHA Job No. 2104 (667-1) Walkling Court. Redevelopment of Walkling Court, a 144-unit eldery/disabled low income public housing development. Services consist of all investigative work, design work, preparation of construction documents, bidding phase administration, Owner-Contractor contract administration and other related work necessary to meet the project's stated scope and goals. Designer Fee Set Fee $7,117,110.00 Applications and brochure requirements can be obtained by contacting Gabriel Ciccariello, Director of Modernization & Procurement at gciccariello@medfordhousing.org. Firms attending the briefing session will meet next to the Community Room at 14 Walkling Court, Medford, MA 02155. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
