Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Paving of the Dellwood Park East Woods Drive Road and Parking Lot Notice is hereby given that for the excavation and paving of approximately 5,919 square yards of the Front Road and Parking lots in Dellwood Park. The Board of Commissioners of the Lockport Township Park District, Will County, Illinois reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof. Overlay with Binder & Surface Approximate Area: 53,267sf = 5,919sy o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Binder course. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Surface course. Excavate Turf Approximate Area: 3,553sf = 395sy o Excavate to a depth of 8". o Add CA-6 stone for a consistent 6" stone base. o Fine grade, compact stone base to a depth of 6". o Add 2" of compacted HMA Binder Course. Not included in the 53,267sf total. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Binder course. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Surface course. o Stripe for additional parking spaces. Butt Joints & Transition to Existing Trails o Mill back and butt joint to existing trails for a smooth transition. o Fine grade, compact, remaining/existing stone base. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Binder course. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Surface course. Remove & Patch 3 Sections Approximate Area: 665sf = 74sy. o Remove existing asphalt and legally dispose of offsite. o Fine grade, compact, remaining/existing stone base. o Add 3" of compacted HMA Binder Course. Not included in the 53,267sf total. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Binder course. o Supply and install a finished 2" inches of compacted HMA Surface course. Remove 3 Areas of Asphalt Approximate Area: 923sf = 103sy. o Remove existing asphalt and legally dispose of offsite. Storm Drains o Raise storm drain frames to match the finished grade of pavement
