**As of August 17,2022, project was awarded to PT Ferro Construction Co., awarded amount is $503278.26.** 2022 Road Maintenance Program for the Lockport Township Road District, Will County, Illinois The project consists of but is not limited to milling and resurfacing of existing roadways with hot mix asphalt binder and surface course, spot concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, and all necessary collateral work to complete improvements. Contractor(s) shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Illinois Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. Lockport Township is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Lockport Township Road District for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Pre-Qualification is Required The Lockport Township Road District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
