The work includes, but is not limited to, decontamination, final shaping and compaction of the granular base, paving of a single layer of ESG-14 bituminous mix, resurfacing of the shoulders and connection of the private entrances. The awarding of the contract is therefore conditional on obtaining the required authorizations (if necessary; loan by-law, etc.). The Tenderer who will be awarded the contract must carry out the work according to the plans and specifications produced by the FQM on March 21, 2022. The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest tender, nor any of the tenders received, and it declines all responsibility with regard to one or the other of the Tenderers in the event of rejection of all the tenders. The contract is awarded by decision of the Council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the Municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its Council. Tenderers with an establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of markets applicable to the Municipality within the framework of this call for tenders, namely the Accord Québec- Ontario (ACCQO), the Quebec-New Brunswick Agreement (AQNB) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). A bid bond of 10% of the submitted price must accompany the bid. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
