Renovation of a water / sewer project in Boise, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project would construct new primary clarifiers at LSWRF. These will replace the existing primary clarifiers, which need to be replaced due to their deteriorating condition. This project also includes (i) all the necessary site-related upgrades to tie in the new primaries with the new headworks building and the existing secondary clarifiers and (ii) a new chemical trim system and fermentation facilities. This project is in included in the City of Boise's FY 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of April 25, 2024, information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
