Site work for a water / sewer project in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This bid is intended to provide the labor and equipment needed to weld new HDPE pipe prior to installation. Geothermal pipe and fittings have been purchased and will be provided on-site for welding services. Work shall consist of welding Platinum Stripe 1800 PE-RT DR-11 pipe, fittings and EF couplings ranging from 2" to 12". Work shall include all necessary pipe preparation and welding by butt fusion, EF couplings, or similar approved techniques. Pipe shall be welded in accordance with product specifications and industry standards. All construction activity including excavation and installation of welded pipe will be completed by City of Boise construction crews. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. In an effort to accommodate all vendors, the City of Boise will have CD copies of Bid Specifications/Plans available at the Purchasing Office.
