Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of improving Gowen Road and constructing a cargo facility access road to connect Gowen Road to the Airport's expanding cargo operations. The Airport plans to develop a new cargo facility at the southeast corner of the airfield and, to accommodate new truck traffic, ACHD requires that Gowen Road be improved. The targeted project completion date assumes tenant lease agreements, which are currently being negotiated, are in place by fall 2021. This project is in included in the City of Boise - Purchasing FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of March 24, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
