Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of June 24, 2022, project was awarded to GoreCon Inc., awarded amount is $359,307.34. This project will consist of roadway overlay on Franklin Avenue, Jefferson Drive, Adams Way, 12th Street, Clipper Way, Winard Avenue, Hickory Lane, Lawn Alley and Hillcrest Place. Work is to include asphalt milling, placement of 9.5 mm asphalt scratch coat, placement of 9.5 mm asphalt wearing course, and base repair. Items for sweeping and preparation, joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes, and valve box risers will be incidental to the project. Manhole risers will be provided and installed by the Borough. Clarification deadline 4/21/2022 4:00 pm Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Sellersville. Award of Contract, if a Contract be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner.
