Site work and outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot in Christiansburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Sealed Bids is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to provide to Montgomery County (herein also referred to as the County) the replacement of parking lot lights and poles at the Christiansburg Library per the scope of work and requirements herein. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, staff and supervision to replace the parking lot lights and poles at the Christiansburg Library as stated in the Scope of Work. 1.1. Project site is the Christiansburg Library, 125 Sheltman Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. 1.2. Replace eleven (11) parking lot lights and poles with new LED fixtures, new taller poles, and new 3-wire connector all the way back to breaker panel. 1.3. Reuse existing pedestals if allowable. 1.4. Existing underground wiring is 2-wire conductor in conduit. Replace wiring with 3-wire conductor using existing conduit if possible. 1.5. Demolition of existing lights is not to occur until new materials are in possession. Parking lot lights may only be out of service for 15 calendar days. 1.6. Complete installation by May 31, 2022.
