Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ripley, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Accepting Bids The Lauderdale County Department of Education, 321 Armory St., Ripley TN 38063, is accepting bids for paving at Ripley Elementary School. Scope of work: The purpose of this project is to improve the structural integrity of the existing Ripley Elementary School parking lot as well as improve the aesthetics. The scope of work for this project includes the following: 1. Clean parking lot free of dirt, sand, and vegetation. 2. Clip the grass along the edge of existing pavement to expose all asphalt 3. Clean out loose rock and asphalt from any potholes within the footprint of the parking lot 4. Install asphalt leveling course in pothole areas. 5. Install tack coat to existing asphalt prior to paving. 6. Install 1-1/2 inch asphalt overlay (411E or 411D) 7. Remove and reset any existing wheel stops within parking lot. 8. Re-paint parking lot back to original configuration. Contractor to include all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to complete this project. Areas 1, 2, & 3 on the site map are to be bid separately. Work must be completed and invoice issued no later than June 10, 2022. (A site map is available by contacting the Department.) The Lauderdale County Department of Education reserves the right to accept or reject bids and to determine equal or better.
