Renovation of an educational facility in Ripley, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,000-square-foot educational facility.
City of Ripley hereby submits for sealed bids for replacement of flooring at the University of TN Martin - Ripley Center 315 S. Washington Street Ripley, TN 38063. All bidders should provide evidence of general liability insurance coverage before such bid may be considered. The scope of work includes labor and material to demo existing flooring, including base and dispose, prep existing floor and to furnish and install new luxury vinyl plank flooring and new cove base in area as shown on site. Approximately 8,000 sq. ft. Flooring material: 6" x 48" luxury vinyl tile plank with 2.5 mm thickness, 20 mil wear layer, glue down installation, with lifetime warranty. New cove base to match existing color and type. Facility assumed to move all equipment and furniture in the space. Contractor responsible for cleanup. All bidders are responsible to have reviewed and understood scope of work when placing bid. Any bids received after said time and date will not be timely and thus rejected and not opened. The City of Ripley reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any informality, for any reason at its sole discretion and reserves the right to award said bid to any responsible bidder. Prior to the opening of any bid envelope, the names of all bidders, who appear qualified, shall be read aloud at the official bid opening and incorporated into the bid. Prior to the awarding of the bid, the City will verify the accuracy, correctness and completeness of the information required.
