The scope includes but not limited to major control modernization of one overhead geared traction passenger elevator including new hoist machine, controller, door operator, fixtures, cab finishes etc. Delivery Schedule for Goods or Services OR Contract Duration: Approx. 6 months after effective date. The Contractor must have the following experience in order to be considered for award of the Contract: a. Be registered as a contractor with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), in the maintenance of elevators, non-limited as to scope of work; b. Have been continuously registered with the TSSA for a period of five years prior to this tender date; c. Be in good standing with the TSSA; d. Continue to sustain good standing with the TSSA during the course of the contract; e. Upon written request, able to provide to the Owner any correspondence between the contractor and the TSSA; f. Have performed maintenance in the Toronto area for a period of at least five years; g. Currently be performing full maintenance on at least 60% of its maintenance contracts; Upon written request, suppliers may be asked to submit information supporting the above qualification and showing the capability to perform the work. Each Supplier shall acquire and upload a copy of a valid Certificate of Recognition (COR(TM)) or Equivalent Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Certification in the legal name of the Supplier or in the case of a joint Bid, for, and in the name of, each member of the Joint Bid Team. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
