Question Acceptance Deadline 04/06/2022 05:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No The Town of Telluride is soliciting for qualified vendors to provide proposals for a pre-fabricated pump station which includes the vault, equipment (pumps, valves, meters, etc.), instrumentation and control, and start-up services. Details of equipment and expectations are found in the attachments portion of the RFP. The following items must be addressed in the proposal: o Pre-fabricated Pump Station: Information and drawings must be provided and include all items listed in the Project Manual (Attachment B) such as: o Size o Material o Entrance size and rating o Paint Coatings o Insulation o Anode Equipment (if applicable) o Floor covering o Pumps: o Make/model/type o Pump curve of proposed pumps o Valves, Fittings, Flow Meters: Multiple automated/controlled valves will be required for this pump station to work properly. Please review drawings, the technical memo, and specs to verify the requirements are achievable. Please discuss in proposal that the specified valves have been reviewed and the vendor can provide the model stated or an equal. Valves of interest include: o New 4" control valve o New 10" swing check valve - Include minimum pressure for swing check valve to open o Flow meter - provide type if different than make/model specified in specs as well as location flow meter would be placed within the pump station o Control System o Please discuss how this system will be run and if all items can be programmed and provided/available to operations staff on their tablets, phone, etc. o Initial intention was to have the I&C, automation, programming integrated into the Town's existing SCADA however, it is desired to have this item as a stand-alone system that can be operated on it's own program/platform. The existing SCADA will be undergoing heavy changes in the near future and Town would like to keep separate if possible. o Factory Testing, Warranties, Installation and Service o Please provide vendor warranties and review factory testing requirements listed in the specifications to ensure these can be met o Provide installation and start-up services provided by vendor o Project Schedule and Lead Times o Please provide Town with estimated lead times for major equipment o Please specify any other long lead times for equipment, items, materials, etc. that Town should be made aware of and that may impact project schedule o Project schedule - Can this be completed in Fall 2022 as desired in the project schedule below. If not, please provide a schedule the vendor feels is realistic. o Budget/Estimated Cost o Comments on the Project Specifications for Pump Station Site Work in Attachment B o Please review and modify if specifications/scope of work should include additional items
