Per addendum 2 bid date has been extended to 4/12/22 Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only. Official sets must be obtained from McKee and Associates All General Contractors biddingthis project shall be requiredto visit the site and examineall existing conditions prior tosubmitting their proposal. Sitevisit shall be arranged bycontacting Mark Grantham at334-488-5636. All Bidders shallhave general liability and workman's compensation insurance.The projects shall be bid excluding taxes. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnishedby the Architect or copies thereof. The Owner reserves theright to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errorsif, in the Owners judgment, thebest interests of the Owner willthereby be promoted. A certified check or Bid Bondpayable to Covington County Schools in an amount notless than five percent (5%) ofthe amount of the bid, but in noevent more than $10,000.00must accompany the bidder'sproposal. Performance andstatutory labor and materialpayment bonds will be requiredat the signing of the Contract. All bidders bidding in amountsexceeding that established bythe State Licensing Board forGeneral Contractors must belicensed under the provisionsof Title 34, Chapter 8, Code ofAlabama, 1975, and must showevidence of license before bidding or bid will not be receivedor considered by the Architect.All bidders shall show suchevidence by clearly displayingcurrent license number on theoutside of sealed envelope inwhich the proposal is delivered. Documentspublished through this procedure are the only documentsendorsed by the Architect. TheArchitect is unable to monitor,confirm and maintain other websites that provide documents.Addendums will be provided toentities that have CONFIRMEDbidding for this particular project. The Architect retains ownership and copyrights of thedocuments. If bidders requireprinted sets, the following shallapply: Submit to the Architectat mckeeplans@gmail.com thecompany's name, first & lastname, phone number, address,project name & number alongwith a deposit of $100.00 perset. The deposit shall be refunded for each set returned in reusable condition within ten daysafter bid opening. All RFIs and RFAs regarding thebid documents shall be sent andaddressed through emails foundon the RFI and RFA forms in theproject manual. NOTE: ONLYTHE RFI AND RFA FORMSIN THE PROJECT MANUALWILL BE ACCEPTED. The Architect will not accept inquiriesvia telephone or fax.
