Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of June 13, 2022, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The following is a general scope of work to provide materials and labor for the construction project of two metal building structures to be used as work areas and offices for the City of Hot Springs, Public Works Department, Traffic Division: A. Office Building/Workshop B. Shop/Open Bays Building The construction consists of pre-engineered metal building systems with metal stud/gwb partitions. Ceilings in the office areas are 2' x 2' suspended acoustical. Floor system in the office areas are wood framed with plywood floor decking, covered with LVT. Other floors are exposed concrete slab. Perform work of the contract under a stipulated sum contract with the City in accordance with the conditions of contract. Work of the Project includes the construction of two metal building structures for work areas and offices for the City of Hot Springs Public Works Department 1. Office Building/ Workshop contains approximately 1,163 sq.ft. of heated and cooled area, 2,920 sq.ft. of heated work shop, and 1,125 sq.ft. of covered parking and porch 2. Work Bays Building contains approximately 985 sq.ft. of enclosed, ventilated workshop area and 1,855 sq.ft. of covered slab. B. The construction consists of pre-engineered metal building systems with metal stud/gwb partitions. Ceilings in the office areas are 2'x2' suspended acoustical. Floor system in the office areas are wood framed with plywood floor decking, covered with LVT. Other floors are exposed concrete slab. C. Perform Work of the Contract under a stipulated sum contract with the Owner in accordance with the Conditions of Contract
