Cass County Highway Department at the Highway Department in West Fargo, North Dakota for Base Stabilization on Cass Hwy 10 from Cass Hwy 10 to Buffalo, ND in Cass County, North Dakota. Millings - 42,753 TON Stabilization - 177,232 SY Portland Cement -2,285 TON A bidders bond in the amount of 5% of the amount bid, made payable to Cass County shall accompany each bid. Paper bid bonds must be submitted by 1 pm to the Cass County Highway Department office the day of the bid letting. Certified or Cashier's checks will not be accepted. No bid will be read or considered which does not comply with the bond requirements. Contractors may be required to submit information detailing their ability to perform the work specific to this project. Cass County may determine the prequalification status of each contractor requesting a proposal, and reserves the right to deny bid documents to any contractor based on the County's responsibility determination. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. All bidders must be qualified to bid under the laws of North Dakota. By order of the Cass County Board of Commissioners of Cass County, North Dakota. CH2211 will include hauling in approximately 4"-7" of millings, 1.5" of Class 13 (done by others), and incorporating approximately 5% portland cement into the base 7" deep, 38' wide, and 7.95 miles long on Cass Highway 10 from Cass Highway 5 North to Buffalo, ND. See the attached Project Location Map. The existing roadbed is graded to 38' wide with approximately 1" to 3" of gravel. The final section after stabilization will have a 38' blended base surface top width. The existing gravel will need to be bladed evenly across existing roadway to allow the millings and Class 13 to be evenly placed to a 2.1% crown before the stabilization process. After the stabilization process, the roadway surface shall be micro milled to a smooth tight finish, broom thoroughly, and sealed with a prime coat.
