Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Richhill Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

Bids will be awarded at the regular Aleppo Township meeting held at 4:00 PM on Monday April 4, 2022. The JACOBS ROAD DGLVR PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace two existing culvert pipes on Jacobs Road and Hewitt Run Road with elliptical culvert pipes, and perform improvements to Jacobs Road. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. Contact Harshman CE Group, LLC at 724-503-4125 with any questions. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Aleppo Township. The bid envelope must be clearly marked JACOBS ROAD DGLVR PROJECT. Aleppo Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the JACOBS ROAD DGLVR PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Aleppo Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
