Swansom Road Pump Station Replacement In order to receive consideration of any question(s) regarding these documents such questions shall be submitted in writing addressed to Pare Corporation, 8 Blackstone Valley Place, Lincoln, RI 02865, Attn. Karen Iskierski or by email to kiskierski@parecorp.com, and to be given consideration shall be received by 4:00 PM on April 14, 2022 prior to the date of the bid opening. If in the opinion of the Superintendent of the Swansea Water District such questions are appropriate and clarification is necessary, Pare Corporation shall issue the addenda and forward copies of the addenda to all prospective bidders known to have taken out contract documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the bid price and in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Swansea Water District, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. The contractor shall furnish surety bonds as security for the faithful performance of this contract and for payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with this contract. Each bond shall be in an amount equal to 100 percent of the accepted bid. The Board of Water Commissioners, the awarding authority, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, or to accept any bid or portion thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Water District.
