Snoqualmie Pass Utility District solicits Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from hydrogeologist consulting firms interested in being included on the District's consultant/ engineering services roster. Services that may be needed are related to water supply, hydrogeologic impact analysis, and water rights to develop a plan to increase the District ability to produce more water and increase connection availability to customers. This list will be used for future projects. The District may also advertise for hydrogeological services for specific projects. Hydrogeologist services may require expertise in geotechnical and environmental studies and administration/management of water projects. The District is looking to partner with a consulting firm that specializes in water rights, source approval, water banking/mitigation support, instream flow mitigation, production well design and installation and rehabilitation, well head protection, water planning, SEPA and EIS programs, watershed assessment and planning. This request for SOQs is issued on an annual basis pursuant to RCW 39.80.040 to encourage engineering firms to submit SOQs. However, this request for SOQs should not be viewed as an indication that the District is dissatisfied with the services provided by the engineering firms currently on the roster. Hydrogeologist consulting firms currently on the Consulting Roster must submit a letter of interest to remain on the roster. Hydrogeologist firms interested in providing services to the District are invited to submit a SOQ not to exceed five (5) pages. Submittals should include the following information: firm name, contact information (phone and fax numbers, email addresses), name of principal in charge and project manager. Submittals will be evaluated on 1) key personnel, 2) firm experience with water projects, 3) past performance and references, and 4) knowledge of the District and its facilities.
