Site work and paving for a civil project in Summit Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work will consist of the milling and asphalt paving of approximately 29,370 square yards on portions of Old Wattsburg, Kirsch and Dutch Roads and the municipal building driveway and parking area. Asphalt paving must be completed in a single pass without a centerline longitudinal joint or seam when feasible. Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the office of the Greene Township Supervisors. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
