Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,500-square-foot educational facility.

The Van Buren Intermediate School District is now accepting bids for the replacement or coating of the roof of approximately 17,500 square feet on the Conference Center Building as outlined in the Specifications Direct all questions regarding said proposal to Randy Olds, Maintenance Supervisor, at (269) 539-5233 or rolds@vbisd.org. The Van Buren Intermediate School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities which it deems to be in the best interest of Van Buren Intermediate School District, and the right to award the contract to other than lowest bidder. All proposals shall be made in accordance with Bidding Documents. Work must be completed on or before September 15 th, 2022. This project does not require a prevailing wage. A single lump sum bid is being requested for the complete project as outlined in the scope of work and attached specifications. All bids must include a Bid Security for five percent (5%) of the bid amount payable to the Van Buren Intermediate School District (VBISD), in either the form of a certified bank check or bid bond. If awarded the Contract, the awarded bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
