Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pittsboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work is located Highway 902 Pump Station - 4143 NC-902, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Sodium hypochlorite storage and feed system to include a double-walled tank, day tank scale and indicator / transmitter, and two digital dosing diaphragm metering pumps. o Liquid ammonium sulfate (LAS) storage and feed system to include a drum scale and indicator / transmitter, and two digital dosing diaphragm metering pumps. o A new pre-fabricated Chemical Building installed immediately adjacent to the Pump Station to house the sodium hypochlorite and LAS storage and feed equipment, and an emergency eyewash station o A chemical injection vault installed around the existing Pump Station suction piping o Chloramine and pH analyzers o Tempered water heater for the eyewash o Associated electrical, instrumentation and controls, and mechanical work for all new facilities and associated equipment. o Tie-In, start-up, and commissioning of all new facilities and associated equipment. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
