Contractor shall perform complete building inspection and review of record drawings of the Raton Tourist Information Center in order to familiarize himself with the required scope of work and quantity and configuration of existing lighting fixtures. Contractor shall retrofit existing lighting fixtures throughout the building and install new, energy efficient light-emitting diode (LED) lighting components, complete in place. Contractor shall provide all appurtenant or incidental equipment, labor, material and work necessary for a fully functional installation without additional payment, whether specifically described herein or not. Contractor shall provide, install, and modify the following LED lighting systems and fixtures at designated locations (or approved equivalent products, materials or equipment). sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Raton for the Tourist Information Center Lighting System Retrofit Project - Project No. COR00022-01. The work shall generally consist of retrofit of existing ceiling mounted lighting throughout the Tourist Information Center, and legal and proper disposal of existing fixtures and fluorescent bulbs. Retrofit shall include provision and installation of all retrofitted lighting components and appurtenances and electrical/ structural modifications required for a functional operational system. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
