CPW is seeking services for installation of 2.6 miles of fence in the West Rifle Creek State Wildlife Area (SWA). Fence installation must be done in accordance with Colorado Parks and Wildlife wildlife-friendly fence specifications. This contract is for labor only - materials will be provided to the contractor. West Rifle Creek State Wildlife Area, located at 2025 County Road 252 Rifle, CO 81650 Required Fence Specifications o Height of top wire should be 42" or less At least 12" between the top two wires o At least 16" between the bottom wire and the ground o High tensile white vinyl top wire o Barbed wire middle strands o Smooth wire on the bottom o Posts at minimum 16' intervals o Two stays between posts
