The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: construction of approximately 14.8 miles of new fence on private and SITLA lands located in Beaver and Iron County(s), Utah (see attached maps for project location). This project specifically entails, construction of approximately 78,286 feet (14.8 miles) of 4-strand barbed fence to the specifications listed below and remove existing fence if it poses an obstacle to fence construction. In addition, twenty-nine (29) 12-foot steel panel gates will be obtained and installed by contractor at the sites shown on the attached maps. The site consists of some brush flats, and some drainage crossings. Some areas will need to be cleared for access, which can be done using a mixture of hand crews/equipment. Fence location, boundaries, site maps, and access points will be reviewed at a pre-work conference. See Attachment B Scope of Work for additional information.
