Curbs, Excavation, Concrete Pavement Removal, Asphalt Overlay, Rehab. and/or Maint., Pavement - Marking, Pedestrian Improvements, Trails and/or Multipurpose Trails, Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Street/Road Asphalt Milling, Street/Road Widening, Traffic Control, Pavement Removal, Stormwater Improvements, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete) The Project includes the following Work: 500 linear feet of RCP storm sewer; 3,900 square yards of asphalt pavement milling; 7,000 square yards of asphalt pavement pulverization; 11,300 tons of dense graded base; 3,000 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 3,800 tons of asphalt pavement (including a roadway and a multi-use path); as well as pavement markings, signage, a rapid rectangular flashing beacon (RRFB), and lighting. The roadway will be kept open to traffic throughout construction and includes a staged traffic control plan. The Village of Cottage Grove reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Funding is provided in part by the Dane County PARC and Ride Grant.
