Project Information Scope of Work: The walls facing Saunders Court have been experiencing severe water ingress along the building fenestration. The purpose of the project is to perform exterior building façade repairs so as to extend the building service life in the short-term. Alternates: Alternate No. 1 - Refer to Specifications Section 01100 - Alternates. for full details. Alternate No. 2 - Provide weather-stripping of all operable sash on west elevation. Alternate No. 3 - Provide weather-stripping of all operable sash on south elevation. Alternate No. 4 - Wet seal 100% of window glazing joints on west elevation (rather than select deteriorated joints in Base Bid.) Alternate No. 5 - Wet seal 100% of window glazing joints on south elevation (rather than select deteriorated joints in Base Bid.) Alternate No. 6 - Provide crack repair, spall repair and elastomeric paint on concrete south elevation stair tower (both south and east sides) and base of south elevation concrete wall from ground to the lowest window sill. Please note the following: This is a Public Works project. All subcontractors must be DIR registered and are responsible for certified payroll reporting. Subcontractors are responsible for their own parking expenses. Subcontractors will be required to abide by UCSF COVID Protocols. Waiver of Subrogation will be required for workers compensation. Addendum #1-#9 have been issued as of 5-10-2022.
