Site work and paving for a road / highway in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Contractor is required to perform the installation of all paving stones required for the completion of the project along Central Avenue North, from Herbert Street to Sidney Street, as per the drawings supplied by the City of Swift Current. The Contractor is to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to perform the work. Work identified will include: Transportation of supplied Broadway Paving stone (300x300x100) from NIJO Yard Supplies to site. Excavation and disposal of existing soil. Supply and install 25mm (1") thick bedding sand Install Broadway paving stone in accordance with supplied pattern. Supply and install polymeric sand on entire area of paving stone. Note: Installation of 100mm thick Granular base for Pavers and sidewalk to be completed by others in accordance with City Specifications. Coordination with other contractors will be completed by the City. The contractor must perform the work: a) In compliance to all laws of Saskatchewan, Canada, and the City of Swift Current bylaws, and b) With the degree of care, skill and diligence normally applied in the performance of services of a similar nature; c) In accordance with current industry practices; and d) In conformance with the latest City of Swift Current design standards and codes applicable at the time of design.
