AS of 5/11/2022, this project has been canceled. The project might be put out for re-bid in the near future. The District is seeking bids for the purchase and delivery of 7,000 cubic yards of a select fill material for a levee repair. The select fill material shall be a sandy clay (CL) or a clayey sand (SC) with a Liquid Limit (LL) of less than 35 and a Plasticity Index (PI) between 7 and 15. The material shall be free of brush, roots, sod, or other decomposable or perishable materials. Please provide current laboratory test results for the material required by this Section. Submittals shall include properties for the proposed material. Material properties will include Atterberg Limits including Liquid Limit, Plasticity Index, and percent passing the #200 sieve. The contractor shall include all fees/surcharges associated with hauling to the given location. It is the Contractor's responsibility to keep track of the quantities delivered. The District shall not be held liable for any overages in material received. Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process on the Procurement Website. Response to questions posted on the Procurement Website will be posted on the website by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day April 7, 2022.
