Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bailey Switch, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
G I LON 22 shall consist of one permit with five increments. Each increment will comprise of light grade work and reconstruction of Class II/III / Native Stone ditches. Light grade work shall consist, mostly, of the following: eliminating small slides, regrading areas with rill erosion and poor vegetation, achieving positive drainage along mining benches, and providing access to increments by grading haul roads while improving drainage along roadside ditches. The Class II/III / Native Stone bid item will be utilized within all increments and will consist of controlling erosion along mining benches and armoring haul road ditches. One increment shall require culvert installation and one pond removal. Pond removal shall consist of the following: dewatering, grading and establishing positive drainage, and preparing area for vegetation. HDPE pipe installation shall include all materials and labor associated with installation. Hoe ramming shall be utilized within haul roads and ditches to establish and maintain positive drainage. The entrance to the site is located at the following coordinates: N 36 52' 37" and W083 44' 23".
