CITY OF PORT ANGELES INVITATION TO BID For OVERHEAD DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS MEC-2022-14 Bids will be taken for the following single-phase overhead distribution transformers described in Schedule A: 25kva 240/120 volt, 37kva 240/120 volt, 75kva 240/124 volt, 100 kva 240/120 volt, 167 kva 240/120, and 100 kva 480/277 volt. Government estimate range: $76,000 to $80,000 The material to be purchased is fully described in Schedule A of the bid documents. All bids must be on the forms provided. All questions regarding this bid should be addressed in writing to Lucy Hanley at contracts@cityofpa.us for consideration no later than 5:00 PM on the Wednesday preceding the bid cut-off date and time. The City of Port Angeles (hereafter City) reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. Subject to the foregoing, the Contract may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The City of Port Angeles in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
