Community College seeks a qualified vendor to replace well pump and system upgrade for well system for the Community Arboretum on the Campus of Virginia Western Community College at 3102 Colonial Ave, Roanoke, VA. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and incidentals necessary to furnish and install the following product(s): 1. Replace existing well pump and control system and upgrade to a High Flow System with Constant Pressure Drive. 5HP pump end and 5 HP Pump 2. Upgrade to an S Drive control system. 3. Replace existing underground pressure tank and replace with 20 Gallon Underground Pressure Tank. Place pressure tank in a box with lid (meter box) below ground as opposed to just burying the tank in the soil. Place tank deep enough below ground level to prevent freezing. Depth must be below the extreme frost line for this area. 4. Place pressure switch in more convenient and dry location. Pressure switch, if needed for this system should be placed as close to the pressure tank as possible and in a dry location. 5. Replace drop pipe with 1 1/2 inch schedule 80 Drop Pipe with 1 1/2 inch stainless steel drop pipe couplings. 6. Replace existing check valve with 1 1/2 inch lead free brass check valve 7. Replace pump cable with new pump cable with ground. 8. Provide all materials, labor, equipment, etc. for complete installation. Turnkey job. 9. Provide electrical specifications, drawings, pump manual, S drive manual, and warranty information. 10.Installation of a 1inch tap for future expansion.
