Renovation of a transportation facility in Dover, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Bid Bond/Guarantee Required Yes : 10.00 % The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor and materials for the installation of five (5) YORK Rooftop Units and the integration of two (2) existing Exhaust Fans into the building automation system at the Delaware Airpark, Dover, Delaware. All work on the contract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days after the initial "Notice to Proceed" has been authorized by the Authority. It is the intent of the Authority to authorize the Contractor to proceed with the Work on or about October 1, 2022. Following the anticipated Notice to Proceed date, all Work must be completed by December 1, 2022. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. All questions concerning the plans or specifications must be forwarded to the Authority in writing via electronically. Questions must be received by 11:00 a.m. local time, not later than six (6) business days prior to the bid opening date. The Authority has no obligation to answer any question received after the above-stated time. Questions and corresponding answers will be included as Contract Addenda released to all subscribed parties. Estimated Start Date: 10-01-2022 Estimated Finish Date: 11-29-2022 Line Items: Yes Bidders must submit their bid (other than the numeric portion of the bid if submitted via electronically) within a sealed envelope. The envelope containing the bid forms must be marked "BID FOR CONTRACT NO. 33N-22-01, HVAC SYSTEM MODERNIZATION". If the bidder has submitted its numeric bid via elecronically, the envelope shall be marked: "NUMERIC BID SUBMITTED VIA electronically" The Authority encourages supplier diversity and the participation of disadvantaged, minority-owned and women-owned firms on all of its projects. Bidders are advised that, pursuant to DRBA Resolution 15-12, this project is not subject to the DRBA's Prevailing Wage Policy. Fee Proposal: No Board Approval Required Yes
